Music Celebrates National Reading Month
What do I personally love as much as music?
Reading. And musicians who love reading. And also writers who love music.
It’s just one big ball of awesomeness as far as I’m concerned!
So when I heard about the news song from Aaron Nigel Smith (one of the amazing artists in the Music For Little People group of musicians we talked about here), I was pretty excited to share it.
To celebrate National Reading Month, Aaron Nigel Smith recorded a new song and music video called In A Book, featuring Lionel the lion from the Emmy-Award Winning PBS Kids’ program Between The Lions.
Smith is a featured musical guest on Between the Lions and works with the NEA Read Across America program to promote literacy through music. His music and movement enrichment program, FUNdamentals Of Music And Movement, serves thousands of children in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City and Boston, with over 3,000 schools, centers and daycares in his network.
See the YouTube video here, on Smith’s YouTube channel, where you can also catch other videos & performances.
Hear the song here (and download it for free!), on the Music for Little People website.
