Ri, Mari, Tiffani, and Lara are fun loving, blogging Moms who happen to love music.
We each have our own individual blogs, and over at The Music Mamas, we share the editorial duties and rotate posting about our common love. Might be concert reviews, might be new CD reviews. Might be artist spotlights, pithy observations on the state of music today, or randomly themed playlists that amuse us.
We’re lucky to have “industry connections” that send us new music – not only the grown up kind, but occasionally also the kid kind. Since that flies in the face of the main premise of The Music Mamas…we decided to create this site: The Music Minis. We’ll enlist our own younglings in the critiques and reviews in an effort to bring you the best of today’s Children’s Music.
Here’s the bottom line as we see it: music education is important, and a love of music cultivated early can be a source of lifelong joy. Regardless of the KIND of music we may prefer…we try to share all of it with our children.
