Get this. My first job EVER was in a record store. Yes, I was 16, and learning about every kind of music there was - and set myself up for a lifelong love of melody. I worked in that music store all through high school, all through college - and rhythm still shapes so many things in my life - my mood, my world views, and my wallet, seeing as my iTunes collection contains over 10,000 songs. I tend to go for alternative or indie in my choices (as evidenced in my monthly music giveaways), but truly... there is no bad music. It all depends on what you feel like listening too. OK. Justin Bieber is bad. That that's about it.

As for real life, I co-own a company that builds health education web sites, I am a freelance photographer, and I live with two of the coolest boys on the planet - my husband Bryan and our 7 year old son, Declan.

Yes. That would be *Declan,* as in Elvis Costello's real name.
