So...I love music. It's my outlet..my muse...and sometimes my sanity. I spent my formative teen years rocking out to Nirvana, NIN, Green Day {Dookie album}, Sublime, and Weezer with some Pixies, Misfits, and Rancid thrown in to make a nice well-rounded music selection. When I met my husband as a freshman in college I added Deftones, System of a Down, Snot, Sevendust, and Powerman 5000. As I grew older {and dare I say wiser?} my tastes also grew to include Less Than Jake, Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies, Primer55, Garbage and so, so many more. I love "discovering" new music and getting lost in the Good Vibrations. I've spent a lot of my life lost in the words of a good song, music is cathartic and can evoke memories and emotions we've forgotten.

I'm a mom of two amazing girls (3 & 7) and am the wifey to a music-loving PC tech. We spend our extra money on concerts {I got the hubby Weezer tickets for Father's Day} and have instilled a love of music in our children. During the day I rock out while manning the "Community Manager" position and the Mommy title and by night I jam {with earbuds} while blogging my heart out about what matters most to me.
